Data Collection is done by Data Engineers

Data Preprocessing is done by Data Analyst

Model Selection is done by Data Scientist. (They also do EDA)

ML Engineer takes over from there.

As I want to take an intern in US, I believe that I need to have general knowledge in other roles other than ML Engineer to have any remote chance of getting the job.
